Today I had no real plan of what I was going to do. A day just to enjoy the space and potter. I find when you have a ‘potter’ day, you usually do more than usual. After strimming the grass I decided to spend time in and around the shed. Here are some pictures of the day, more can be found on my instagram at https://www.instagram.com/diaryofaukgardener
Clematis, v. ‘Vivienne Beth Currie’.
This clematis is described as “Plum coloured flowers with bright crimson bar and off-white centres. May to June and August to September. Light prune. Any aspect. Good for containers. Height 8ft/2.5m.” (www.classicroses.co.uk)
This plot sign was made for my previous plot so it was good to get it erected outside the shed again. Many thanks to the Hill family in Manchester for making the sign.
Glass jars of seeds do look beautiful.
I made a few shelves in the shed and started to sort out my bottles of seeds.
Everything has a place.
Tools now have a place in the shed. This should make it easier to find in the future. Well that’s the plan but we all know how best laid plans go.
Today was a nice few hours of just potting around. Next task is to set up the cooker so I can make myself a cuppa tea.
Over on my old allotment, the one I’m leaving, I did would could be the final plot tour. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0zRM4QBeYc
